Current News

Join us during the AZ Rotary Week of Service to help make the Verde Valley beautiful.  We will be collaborating with the Sedona Rotary Clubs to pick up trash all over the Verde Valley, starting with cleaning up the mile on Hwy 260 adopted by the Rotary Club of the Verde Valley.  If you would like to join in the fun, just pick up trash where you are and report back to us how much trash (in lbs) you picked up.  Get your friends, family and students involved.  Together we can make a difference in our community.  Report to us at this email: rotarycluboftheverdevalley@gmail.com by April 24.  Include a photo of you and your trash if you wish.
Rotarians from the Verde Valley Club, along with high school students from American Heritage and Mingus High School Interact Club and their Sponsor, cleaned up a mile-long stretch of Hwy 260 in Camp Verde on Saturday, April 17.  We enjoyed getting together on a beautiful Spring day to pick up over 300 lbs of trash.  We will continue picking up trash all over our community during the AZ Rotary Clubs Week of Service.  Please join us in our efforts to clean up the Verde Valley.

To kick off the AZ Rotary Clubs Week of Service, our club picked up trash along a one mile stretch of Hwy 260 in Camp Verde.  Along with Rotarians, Interact Club members from Mingus High School and students from AHA picked up over 300 lbs of trash.  The District Governor, Elizabeth Mahoney, helped us to kick off the week with her visit and encouragement. Great job everyone!
